Houston L. Coor, Sr (H.L.), 88, Howe, OK, passed away, Sunday December 30, 2018, in his home in Howe, Ok. He was born in Brownsfield, TX on April 7, 1930 to Ivey and Fannie Coor. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Patricia. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He worked hard for all of his life from cotton fields in his youth to his time in the Army as a tank commander to the oil fields of New Mexico, Canada and Wyoming to his retirement cleaning up his property to make it as beautiful as his Patricia.
He was preceded in death by his love, Patricia; his parents; brothers, Pat and Paul; sister, Lillie.
H.L. is survived by two brothers, Ray and Marvin Coor; sister, Bettie Magill; two sons, Houston Coor, Jr of Gillette, WY and Dan (Teri) Coor of Summerset; three grandsons, Houston (Lacey) Coor, III of Howe, OK, Taylor and Nathaniel Coor of Gillette, WY; two great-grandchildren Madison and Liam Coor of Howe, OK; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Houston L. Coor III, Dan N. Coor, Houston L. Coor Jr, Taylor Coor, Lee Sudduth, Frankie Brown.
