Iva Marie Spicer
Iva Marie Spicer, 88, of Spiro, OK, passed away February 3, 2014, in Spiro. She was born June 9, 1925 in Williams, OK, to James Edmond and Ruth Ellen (Laughlin) Brown. She was a retired home health aide.
Iva is preceded in death by her parents; a son Ray Spicer; a daughter Bonnie Jean Gernand; three brothers, Dez, Ellis and James Brown; four sisters, Etta Brown, Silbeal (Syble) McDuffie, Opal (Connie) Talhelm and Dym Falkner.
She was survived by a son Roger Spicer of CA; two sisters Sylvia Hale of Spiro, OK and Bonnie Mullins of Booneville, AR; grandchildren, Ray, Scott and Ginny Spicer, Theresa Marie, Timothy Michael and Trinity Raymond Gernand and Tomm Edward Taylor; eight great grandchildren Skylan and Kyle Taylor, John and Mariah Gernand, Kaylee Simons, Jason Tyler, Jillian Marie and Kristie Lea Hensley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many more family members, friends and loved ones.
Service will be held at 2 :00 PM, Thursday, February, 2014, graveside at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK, with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Interment will follow service.
