Jackie Allen Sweeten
Jackie Sweeten, 65, of Cameron, OK, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born August 11, 1952, in Jenson, AR to Coy and Beatrice (Winters) Sweeten. He was a retired machinist, working many years for Baldor Electric. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rita Faye Sweeten, granddaughter Taiya ONeal, great grandson Pepper McGee and parents-in-law Claud and Imogene Welch.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Sweeten of the home, a son Kendall and wife Kayla ONeal of Cameron, OK, Larinda Sweeten of Cameron, Kenda and husband Marcus McGee of OKC, OK, grandchildren, Carson Jack, Radley Gene and Hollan Claud ONeal and Aaron and Isaiah Lawson, brothers, Cotton and wife Lillie Sweeten, Troy and wife Linda Sweeten, Billy Don and wife Brenda Sweeten, Mikel and wife Kathy Sweeten all of Rock Island, OK, a sister Brenda Jones of Fort Smith, AR, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Charley Perkins, Dewight Robinson, Richard Johnson, Tim Cannon, Keith ONeal, and Michael Cantwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Yancy, Donald, Randy, and Mikey Sweeten, Jason Herell and Brant Shaw.
Services will be held Saturday, December 30, at 11:00 am at Cameron Civic Center in Cameron, OK. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. with Dr. Brian Sheppard and Marcus McGee officiating. Viewing will be Friday, December 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Grace Manor Funeral in charge of arrangements.
