Obituary For
James Harvey Bollinger
Harvey Bollinger, 76, of Rock Island, OK, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017, in Rock Island. He was born July 11, 1941, at Rock Island, OK to B.D. and Eva (Malone) Bollinger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, served on the Cameron School Board for fourteen years, and was a retired steel worker, and an avid fisherman and hunter.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ray Bollinger, three sisters, Thelma Chronister, Wanda Williams, and Baby Sister.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat Bollinger of the home, two daughters, Kim and husband Michael Turner of Greenwood, AR, and Kathy and husband Ronnie Robertson of Rock Island, OK, four grandchildren, James Colt Robertson, Paige Bowen, LaRissa Lundry and Lynsey Oliver, eight great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Colt Robertson, Bradley Bollinger, Matt Bollinger, Randy Riggs, Little Jim Vickers and Jerry Humphries.
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017, at Rock Island Freewill Baptist Community Church with Pastor Ronnie Robertson officiating. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, The family will greet friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
