James Coleman Dolson of Wister, Oklahoma was born on August 5, 1936 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Robert Otis and Edna Roberta (Hall) Dolson and passed away on November 19, 2025 at his home in Wister, Oklahoma at the age of 89.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edna Roberta (Hall) and Robert Otis Dolson; and a sister, Vina Jean (Dolson) Wyatt.
James was a 1954 graduate of W B Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. He married Barbara Ann Cobb on August 18, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas. James was in the Army Reserves. Later he remarried to Mary on December 28, 2009. He was the owner/operator of Andy's Kitchen. James loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is also survived by numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
James' memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Wilburton, Oklahoma with Brother Brandon Owens officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma. "LeFlore County's Only On-Site Crematory"
