James P. Jack Martindale, 89, formerly of Howe, OK passed away, February 8, 2012, in Houston, TX. He was born July 5, 1922, at Kinta, OK, to Perry L. and Madge Ritter) Martindale. He was a retired painting contractor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Veneice, a daughter Marilyn Prescott, a son Bobby Martindale, one brother and two sisters.
Jack is survived by two sons, David and wife Karen Martindale of Houston, TX, Jimmy Wayne and wife Jackie Martindale of Rockford, IL; a son-in-law Don Prescott of Pasadena, TX; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Maxey Cemetery, Wister, OK, with Rev. David Martindale officiating. Interment will follow service at Maxey Cemetery.
