Archie Owen, 66, of Shady Point, OK, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday December 17, 2018. He was born July 28, 1952, in Longbeach, CA. to Thomas Jefferson and Annie Rosie (Ingrum) Owen.
Archie is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Karen Owen, one son Michael Owen and a brother Kenneth Owen.
Survivors include his wife Pamela Owen of the home, three sons Travis Owen, Jeremy Owen, Jeremy Gulke and wife Tashia, one daughter Marcie Firle and husband Jared, two brothers Buck Owen and Allen Owen Sr., nine grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other family members, friends, and loved ones. Archie loved truck driving, riding motorcycles, working on old cars, and westerns.
Pallbearers will be Ken Faulkner, Roger Cooper, John Pursel, Casey Heflin, Brian Minks and Jeff Buffington. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremy Gulke and Larry Lunsford.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel Poteau, OK. With Rev. Bryan Fouts officiating. Archie will be laid to rest at the Westville Cemetery in Westville, OK. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 PM 6:00 PM. At the funeral home.
