Janice Caroline Johnson
Janice Caroline Johnson, 70, of Cameron, OK, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Cameron. She was born September 19, 1945, at Greenup, KY, to Robert and Audry (Boyles) Cox. She was a truck Driver; loved NASCAR and going to the beach. Her grandkids were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Donald Johnson of the home; three sons, Don Johnson Sr. of Cameron, OK, Kevin Johnson and wife Barbie of Natural Dam, AR and Mike Neve of Cameron, OK; four daughters, Valerie Samuels and wife Julie of Cameron, Pamela Scyrkels and husband Gary of Panama, OK, Lisa Johnson of France, June Jones of Cameron, OK; two brothers, Mike Cox of North Carolina and Steve Cox of South Carolina; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Brian Thornburg, Joe Johnson, Don Johnson, Blake Thornburg, Jacob Summers, and Jordan Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Neve, Jerry Victory, Gary Scykels, Kendell ONeal, Damien Mink and Josh Dyer.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK with Rev. Lynn Bullard officiating. Interment will follow services at the Greenhill Cemetery. Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
