Obituary

Tyler Reed, 24, of Poteau, OK, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Little Rock, AR. He was born, January 27, 1992, at Tulsa, OK, to Jeffrey Ted Reed and Nova Charlene (Jackson). He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend.. Tyler loved!! He loved life, he loved God, he loved his family, he loved his friends! He always gave 100% in everything he did and lived life to the fullest, and changed the way so many of us look at life today! Tyler you ran the ultimate race son and you won, we will all see you again! We love you.
Preceding him in death were his sister Ashley Reed, maternal grandfather Hayden Byrd, cousins Elisha Choate and Doug Byrd.
Survivors include his mother Nova Chronister and husband Timmy of Poteau; father Jeffrey Ted Reed of Poteau; brother Justin Reed and wife Jennifer of Poteau; paternal grandparents Mildred Reed of Poteau, and Cecil Reed of Prospect, OR; maternal grandmother Linda Byrd of Poteau; as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Adam Smith, Mark Garner, Jesse Smith, Justin Reed, Cameron Holycross and Rick fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Lindsey, Aaron Lindsey, Matt Young, Alex Bell, Stephen Perry, Trent Murray and Chris Smith.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the First Baptist Church, Heavener, OK, with Pastors Sam Dyer and Scott Neal officiating. Interment will follow service at the Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, Ok. Viewing will be Monday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
