Jerry Wayne Dotson, 70, of, Bokoshe, OK, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born March 9, 1947 at Panama, OK to Harv Thomas and Nona Lee (Kirkpatrick) Dotson. He was a mechanic and veteran of the U.S. Army. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Verna Dotson and a brother Sonny Dotson.
Survivors include four sons, Terry Dotson and Chrissie Platt, Greg Dotson and Ashley Gibson, Virgil Dotson and Autumn, all of Keota and Thomas Dotson and Darla of Bokoshe, two daughters, Deila Oliver of Bokoshe and Lynn Phillips and William of Fort Smith, two brothers, Eugene Dotson of Branch, AR and Joe Dotson of Panama, OK, four sisters, Pat Phillips of Virginia, Jana Sherfield of fort Smith, Frances Wise of Panama and Lucille McCage of Panama, twenty-three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
