Jerry Lane Rust, 62, of Shady Point, OK, passed away June 15, 2010, in Fayetteville, AR. Jerry was born July 2, 1947, in Cameron, OK, to Artie T. and Neva Nell (Buttress) Rust. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and was Senior Buyer for Johnson Controls. Jerry was an Arkansas Razorback fan and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.
He is survived by his mother, Neva Spurlin of Shady Point, OK; his father, Artie Rust of Talihina, OK; a son Michael Rust of Minnesota; a daughter Amy Rust of New Orleans, LA; two grandchildren; and many other family, friends, and loved ones.
Services will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, June 18, 2010, at Ft. Smith National Cemetery Pavilion, with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Interment will follow service.
