Jewell (Judy) Leona Hale of Monroe, Oklahoma was born on June 1, 1949 in Cameron, Oklahoma to Willie and Vera (Godwin) Roberts and passed away October 15, 2020 in Monroe, Oklahoma at the age of 71.
Jewell is survived by her husband of 49 years Lonnie Hale, daughters, Naomi Gunter and husband JR of Jasper Alabama, Rachel Brown and husband Chris of Howe, Oklahoma, Sarah Green and husband James of Howe, Oklahoma, sisters, Neitta Day, Ruthie Menke and niece Amanda Menke, brothers, James Roberts, David Roberts, Leroy Roberts, and John Roberts, grandchildren, Britt and Callie Brown, Megan and Jacob Carter, Hunter Wilson, Gaven Brown, Remington and Alex Wright, Rebecca Wilson, Khloe Green, Greg and Alicia Gunter, Brad and Ashley Gunter, great grandchildren, Britlie Brown, Cooper Brown, Cassius Brown, Jackson Carter, Kitt Wright, Micah Carter, Willow Wilson, and Levi Gunter, and numerous nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.
Jewell was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Vera Roberts, brothers, Weldon Roberts, Melvin Roberts, Bob Roberts, and Delbert Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Britt Brown, Gaven Brown, James Green, Alex Wright, Jacob Carter, Chris Brown, and JR Gunter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cooper Brown, Kitt Wright, Jackson Carter, Cassius Brown, and Stephen Smith.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday October 19, 2020 at Grace Memorial Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Larry Stacy Officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma, services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service in Poteau, Oklahoma.
There will be no viewing or visitation. The family asks that anyone attending the funeral please wear a mask, and practice social distancing.
