A graveside service for Joe Qualls, 76 of Wister, Oklahoma will be held at a later date with cremation services under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Joe Derrell Qualls was born on March 14, 1948 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Viola (Powell) Qualls and Joe Bill Qualls and passed away on March 29, 2024 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was married to Linda Fay Armstrong on September 30, 1966 In Poteau, Oklahoma, she preceded him in death on February 18, 2021. Joe was also preceded in death by his parents. Joe served in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Joe worked as a fabricator at Johnson Controls and was a cattle rancher. His true passion and love, lay in the continuous improvement and enhancement of his family's land, ensuring that it would be handed down to future generations.
Survivors include his son, Joe Allen Qualls; daughter, Tammy Davidson and husband Ron; his three grandchildren, Ashley Qualls, Rebekkah Qualls and Addison Qualls, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
