Joetta Collins, 59, of Rock Island, OK, passed away Wednesday November 28, 2018 in Pocola, OK. She was born July 12, 1959 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Bill Joe Adam and Floralla Jean (Parsons). Joetta was a Certified Med Aide and took great pride in helping her residents lead the best life possible in a nursing facility. She was caring and kind to her residents, making sure their needs were met. She also loved her family and her Toby dog.
Joetta was preceded in death by her mother Jean Johnico, brother Allen Adams and step-son Jimmy Jr.
Joetta is survived by her husband Jimmy Collins of the home, her father and step-mother Bill & Laveda Adam of Mulberry, AR, sons David Priest and Frankie Campbell, daughter Jerri Priest, step-daughters Trina Taylor & Norma Wesley, brother Eddie Adams, sisters Emma Jean Steelman and husband Butch of Haw Creek, OK, Audrey Johnico of Shady Point, OK and Eva Crandell of Mulberry, eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family, friends and loved ones.
