Obituary For
John Wayne Collins
John Collins, 58, of Bokoshe, OK, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016, in Tulsa, OK. He was born September 18, 1957, at Los Angeles, CA, to Jess and Barbara (Thayer) Collins. He was a truck driver.
Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents, William and Aline Thayer; three sisters, Lois Cobb, Nettie Couch and Betty Couch; two brothers, John Collins and Billy Wayne Collins; two nephews, Tim and Kevin Brasher.
Survivors include his wife Deila Oliver of the home; two sons, D.J. Oliver and John Wayne Oliver both of the home; a brother Gene Collins of Shady Point, OK; three sisters, Debbie Poore of Howe, Sandy Vickers of Cameron, OK and Ashley McDaniel of Heavener, OK; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Cauthron, Jimmy Couch, Lewis Poore, Jimmy Vickers, Josh Jones and Zack Poore.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK. Interment will follow service at the New Hope Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, Ok. Viewing will be Monday, February 15 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
