Judy Bretz, aged 66, of Panama, OK, was born February 18, 1949 to Bennie Alfred and Edna Bell (Morgan) Darneal, in Panama, OK, and passed from this life on November 1, 2015, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was retired from Johnson Controls, Inc. Electrical Department.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Peter Franklin Pete Bretz; sisters, Earline Carter, Marie Tucker, Betty Boston, Bonnie Darneal, Phyllis Hensley; brothers Eugene Darneal, Benny Darneal, William Darneal, Robert Darneal and Joe Darneal.
Judy is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Wilson and husband Paul of Broken Arrow, OK, Jody Short of Panama, OK; granddaughters, Autumn, Kelsey, and Katelyn (Dani) Wilson of Broken Arrow, OK; grandson Brody Pete Short of Panama, OK; brother Wesley Darneal of Kansas City, MO; adopted daughter Lora Dill of McCurtain, OK; adopted son Billy Cook of Poteau, OK; and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Billy Cook, Randy Darneal, Paul Wilson, Robert Dale Goines, Scott Hensley and Bob Hensley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harlon Easton, Gary Gann, Larry Goines, Dennis Hensley, Jamie Darneal, Larry Dill, Wayne Goines and Shannon Darneal.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5 , 2015, at the Freewill Baptist Church, McCurtain, OK, with Bro. Jeremy Howell officiating. Interment will follow service at Fairview Cemetery in Panama, OK. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
