Limuel Mitchell King, 80, of Cameron, OK, passed away March 23, 2011, in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born July 2, 1930, in Spiro, OK, to Hallie Burton and Ida (Lindsey) King. He was retired from U.S. Forge Craft and worked several years for Cameron school system. Mitchell married Barbara Marie Jones on October 3, 1953, in Bonanza, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gene King and Buddy King, and a sister Clara Word.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; two sons Billy King and wife Caren of Van Buren, AR, Mark King and wife Donna of Cameron, OK, two daughters Beth Dunkerson and husband Eddie of Ft. Smith, AR, and Joyce Sharber and husband David of Booneville, AR; twelve grandchildren, Travis, Brian, Greg, Kevin, Marisa, Roy Gene, Tyler, Danielle, John, Megan, Christopher and Evalee; six great-grandchildren; a brother Jimmy King of Spiro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Michael King, Roger Mays, Randy Sweeten, Shawn Sweeten, Ray Finchum, James Call, Terry Hale, and Randy Duncan.
Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Pastor Dennis Jones and Pastor David Hardin officiating. Interment will follow service at the Fair Hill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
