Leota Pearl (Thornburg) Miller
Pearl Miller, 84, of Arkoma, OK, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born June 7, 1933 at Fanshawe, OK, to John Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Rash) Thornburg. She was a homemaker.
Pearl was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Tom Miller, a grandson Sheldon Joe Sumpter, five sisters, one brother and two brothers-in-law.
Survivors include six children, James Joel and wife Shirley Sumpter of Fanshawe, Michael John Sumpter of Red Bluff, CA, Patrick Robin and wife Beverly Sumpter of North Pole, AK, Sheldon Artie and wife Rhonda Sumpter of Heavener, OK, Paulette and husband Glenn Flurry of Enterprise, OK and Stephanie and husband Vern Higham of Fairbanks, AK, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, a sister, Mickie Reno Smith of Gerber, CA, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be family.
Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10:00 am at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel Poteau, OK. with Bro. Dennis Henderson officiating. Viewing will be Friday, Sept. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Grace Manor Funeral in charge of arrangements.
