Obituary For
Lester Graham Jr.
Lester Graham, Jr., 69, of Wister, OK, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016, in Fort Smith, AR. He was born April 15, 1946, at Charleston, AR, to Lester and Edna (Webb) Graham Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired Fire Captain for the city of Fort Smith, AR and worked in the parts department of Harry Robertson.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his beloved wife Beth Graham; a brother, Floyd Graham; six sisters, Nancy Blair, Jo Ann Thompson, Kathy King, Sue Perkins, Colleen Montgomery and Betty Carson.
Survivors include a son Michael Glenn of Dallas, TX; a daughter Vicki Glenn-Call and husband Johnny of Poteau; grandchildren Aaron and Matthew Davies of Poteau; a sister Esther Ortiz of Greenwood, AR; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Kelvin King, Don King, Larry Montgomery, Mark Koenigseder, Lee Rundell and Perry Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Fort Smith Fire Department.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR. Interment will follow service also at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK. Open viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and the family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.You may leave an on-line greeting to the family at www.gracemanorfh.com
