Lila June Fairless, 76, of Panama, OK, passed from this life on September 4, 2014. She was born November 19, 1937 to Kate and Charles Lackey in Coal County, Oklahoma. She attended Mowdy Elementary and graduated from Coalgate High School in May of 1955. She married Harlen Wayne Fairless on May 18, 1955. Lila was foremost a mother and homemaker and later worked for Blue Bell, Public Service, Arkla Gas, and retired from Wrangler.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister Emily Katherine Lackey; and a brother Lavern Lackey.

Lila is survived by her husband Harlen of the home; three children: Kay and Donny Gollihare of Panama, OK; Karen and Alex McCollum of Bartlesville, OK; Ray and Joy Fairless of Panama, OK; she was blessed with four grandchildren: Brandi and Josh Burris of Panama, OK, Jacob and Heather Biernacki of Panama, OK, Eric and Misty Fairless of Panama, OK; Chris and Jenny Gollihare of Panama, OK, and Katie McCollum of Bartlesville, OK; eight great grandchildren, Isaac and Andy Burris; Braxton, Raycee, and Corbin Biernacki; Talan Fairless; Kylee and Cooper Gollihare; sister Wilma and Jerry Miller of Ada, OK; as well as many more family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Chris Gollihare, Josh Burris, Isaac Burris, Alex McCollum, Andy Burris, Eric Fairless, and Jacob Biernacki.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 8, 2014, at the Church of Christ in Coalgate, OK, with Minister L.D. McElhaney officiating. Interment will follow service at Coalgate Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. The family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
