Linda Sue Fite, 71, of Wister, OK, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in her home. She was born Nov. 10, 1943, at Wister, OK, to George Otto and Grace Mae (Calloway) Johnson. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Tony, John O., David and George Johnson; a sister Nancy Butler
Linda is survived by six sons, Bo and wife Marcie Terry of Wister, OK, Jim Bo and wife Kristen Crenshaw of Red Oak, OK, Justin Fite of OKC, OK, Jarrod Fite and Jason Fite both of Hartshorne, OK, and Steven Fite of Wilburton, OK; two daughters, Janet Kirkes and Jody Vega both of Hartshorne, OK; three brothers, Elton Johnson of Wister, OK, Dennis Johnson of Sallisaw, OK and Leo Johnson of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Bobbie Garner of Wister, OK and Doris Shelton of Shady Point, OK; five grandchildren, Mason, Micah, Morgan, Joseph and Christy; three great grandchild, Boston, Karlynn and Kirsten; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, George Johnson, Bud Hammons, Lynn Johnson, Randy Shelton, and Joe Donathan. Honorary pallbearers will be Rocky Crane and Ricky Crane.
Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Ellis Chapel Church, Wister, OK, with Pastor Curtis Curry officiating. Interment will follow service at Ellis Chapel Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
