Linda Carol (James) Maxwell
Linda Maxwell, 65, of Poteau, OK, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, in Tulsa, OK. She was born March 6, 1950, at Calhoun, OK, to Lester Frank and Annie Mae (Morris) James. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Donald Lee Maxwell of Poteau, OK; a daughter Tammy Lee Legitt of Poteau, OK; adopted son Jay Dakin of Poteau, OK; a sister Mary Corinne Kelly; grandchildren Tamara and Tara Legitt, Jonathon, Donald Paul Kristin, Justina and Alysia Maxwell, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Linda is preceded in death by brothers Adam, Benny and Roy James; sisters Easter Buckner, Christine James, Flora Mae James and Starla James.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau, OK. Interment will follow service at the Oakland Cemetery. Fellowship will follow service at the Delton Cox Community Center. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, Ok.
