Lois May Farrar-Dunlap, 90, of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away May 29, 2011, at The Oaks Healthcare Center in Poteau. Lois was born September 5, 1920 in Cameron, Oklahoma, to Tom P. and Gracie (Fox) Anderson. Lois was a homemaker and mother.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Dunlap.
She is survived by a son, Tommy Ray Farrar and wife Freda, of Panama, OK; two daughters, Anntionette Farrar of Shady Point, OK. and Tresia Farrar of Poteau, OK.; four sisters, Daisy Holt of Rogers, AR., Mossie Farrar of Cameron, OK., Fleta Anderson of Cameron, OK., and Berniece Hurst of Poteau, OK.; seven grandchildren, Sheila Brewer, Tonia Charlton, Randy Farrar, Shayne, Brent, Brandon and Shawn McBride; nine great grandchildren; a best friend, Eulis Farrar of Van Buren, AR. and a host of other loved ones and friends.
Pallbearers will be Shayne McBride, Brandon McBride, Brent McBride, Larry Farrar, Steven Farrar and Jason Farrar.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Cameron with the Rev. Terry Cripe officiating. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.
