Lonnie Dean Franklin, 62, of Panama, OK, passed away February 13, 2015, in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born June 16, 1952, in Ft. Worth, TX, to Herman Calvin and Evelyn F. (MacFall) Franklin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a salesman for Best Buy.

He was preceded in death by his father Herman Calvin Franklin.

Lonnie is survived by his mother Evelyn Franklin of Spiro, OK; a sisters and brother-in-law Cindy and Tommy Downing of Spiro, OK; a niece Jessica Ford and husband Dylan of Wister, OK; a nephew Jeremy Downing and wife Jessica of West Virginia; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.

The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Lakeview Baptist Church, Spiro, OK, with Bro. Keith Wilson officiating. Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau in charge of arrangements. You may leave an on-line message to the family at
