Obituary for
Margaret Louise (Kelly) Eagan
Margaret Louise Eagan was born on February 11, 1934, at Wister, Oklahoma to Jack and Bessie (McCartney) Kelly. She passed from this world to her heavenly home on Friday, July 18, 2014. She was one of seven children and had three brothers and three sisters. At age 18 she married Sherman L. Eagan. They had no children, but were married for 43 years before he passed away. She and Sherman were saved and baptized at the First Baptist Church in Wister. They moved to California where they lived for many years before returning to Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Orby, Lloyd (Mike) and Raymond and three sisters Loraine Mecom, Vera Wigginton and Madge Ryburn Duncan.
She is survived by her nephew (whom she considered her son) Jess and wife Wanda Ryburn of Poteau, Also surviving are her granddaughters, Jaymi Ryburn Chambless of Calumet, OK and Jonikka Ryburn Berglan of Norman, OK. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Hayden and Alyssa Reaves of Pocola, Hunter Berglan of Edmond, OK, Dallan Berglan and Brynn Berglan of Norman, OK. She leaves behind a niece Kathy Kelly Morris and husband Hank, of Spiro, OK, who visited with her regularly and spoiled her as all of us did. She lived with her nephew and his wife for five years before moving to the Oaks Healthcare Center in Poteau. She considered the employees at the Oaks as part of her family and often got very attached to them. Her family appreciates the wonderful care she received at the Oaks.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oaks Healthcare Center at 1501 Clayton, Poteau, OK. Anyone desiring to attend will be welcome.
