Marjorie N. (Oakes) DeLoge
Marjorie (Oakes) DeLoge, 90, of Spiro, OK, passed away February 4, 2014, in Spiro. She was born June 5, 1923, in Grand, OK to Charles and Jessie (Rucker) Carpenter. She was a homemaker, loved to garden, quilt, crochet and cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Charlene Carpenter, Anna May Campbell and Clara Carpenter.
Marjorie is survived by three sons, Dave Oakes of Cameron, OK, James Oakes and wife Karen of Pocola, OK, Jesse Oakes of Athol, Idaho; five daughters, Linda Goldsmith and husband Geoff of Springville, CA, Nancy Harlow of Spiro, OK, Doris Robinson of North Ogden, UT, Diane Davis of Spiro, OK and Susan Flores of Denver CO; twenty grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members, friends and loved ones.
