Martyne Cantrell, 85, of Poteau, OK, passed away October 10, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born February 12, 1927 in Summerfield, OK, to Christopher and Amelia (Hollan) Evans. She was a homemaker and retired from the Poteau Schools System.
Martyne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty year Tom Wylie; four brothers, Dooley Evans, Arden Evans, J.C. Evans and Waford Evans; and a sister Vern Woolbright.
Martyne is survived by husband Guy Cantrell of Shady Point, OK; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and David Billy of Poteau; three grandchildren, Curtis Bennett, Michael Billy and Ashlee and husband Jeremy McBride; a brother and sister in law Denver and Dorothy Evans of Summerfield, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, friends and loved ones.

Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Trinity Baptist Church, Poteau, OK, with Bro. David Billy officiating. Interment will follow service at the Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore, OK. The family will meet with friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. The Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home Poteau, OK.
