Margie Billings, 79, formerly of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away September 4, 2011, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born June 23, 1932, in Ft. Smith, to Lewis LeRoy and Minnie Evelyn (Pierce) Jackson. Mary Marjorie Jackson married Clarence William C.W. Billings, on June 2, 1951, in Van Buren, AR. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Margie had many interest and shared some of her talents for quilting, crochet and knitting, by instructing others through the Carl Albert State College SRO Program. She was retired from Beverly Enterprises. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband C.W. Billings; one brother and four sisters. Survivors include a son Dale Keith Billings and wife Amalia, of Brownsville, TX; two daughters, Teresa Ann Shepherd and husband Dewey, of Poteau, and Deanna Kay Fox and husband Michael, of Ft. Smith, AR; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law Betty and Bob Files of Gladewater, TX; as well as numerous other family, friends and loved ones.
