Mary Bruce, age 88, of Poteau, OK, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Poteau.
Mary was born January 26, 1925 at Talihina, OK, to Earl F. and Nannie Dee (Chewing) Tucker. She was a homemaker.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Finis Wyatt Bruce; a brother Bud Tucker; a sister Gerry Bruce; and a grandson Russell Bruce.
Mary is survived by three sons, Douglas Culp, Robert Bruce and David Bruce; four daughters, Carol Hulsman, Nancy Dee Carsello, Janie Korb, Kathy Eastman and Karla Vrooman; a brother Jack Tucker of Springfield, MO; eighteen grandchildren, Keely Marie, Kelly, Michael, Katie, Tera, Meghan, Ben, Kelsey, Konner, Jodi, Jennifer, Melissa, Mathew, Brandon, Matt, Eric, Sarah, and Charlene; eleven great grandchildren and her special Fab Five Family, and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK. The family has requested in lieu of flowers a contribution in honor of Mary Bruce be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 109 S. Harper, Poteau, OK, 74953.
