Mary Ellen Coomer, 70 of Cameron, OK, passed away August 29, 2014 Ft. Smith, AR. She was born April 7, 1944, in Bonanza, AR, to William Jennings and Lillian Fern (Stockdale) Jones. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents;; two brothers Jackie Jones and Paul Jones; a sister Barbara King; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Mary Ellen is survived by two sons Henry Brock of Cameron, OK and Paul Brock of Hackett, AR; two daughters Theresa Brock of Hackett, AR and Linda Brown of Van Buren, AR; eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; a brother Marvin Rice of Spokane , WA; four sisters, Billie Sweeten of Pocola, OK, Agnes Knapp of Poteau, OK, Linda Paz of Ft. Smith, AR, Opal Hastings of Flower Hill, OK; her beloved companion Jody (her dog); and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Paz, Shawn Sweeten, Randy Sweeten, Mark King, Tyler Newsome and Joseph Brock.
Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Eddie Kratz officiating. Interment will follow service at White Bluff Cemetery, Bonanza, AR. Viewing will be Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
