Mary Irene Nobles
Mary Irene Nobles, of Poteau, OK, passed away, February 14, 2013, in Poteau. She was born June 22, 1930, in Booneville, AR, to Robert and Nellie (Moore) Phillips. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dedicated member of First Baptist Church, Poteau, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ray Phillips, Clarence Phillips, Roy Phillips and Argie Phillips.
Irene is survived by her husband of sixty two years, Haskell Nobles of the home; a son and daughter-in-law Rick Nobles and Katherine Conrad of Pleasanton, CA; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Howard Cagle of Poteau, OK; a brother Carl Phillips of San Fernando, CA; two sisters, Goldie Suttles and Robbie Catlett both of Booneville, AR; four grandchildren, Carey and Amy Cagle of Poteau, OK, Cara and Matt Yakel of Moore, OK, Peter Nobles and Clarie Nobles both of Pleasanton, CA; six great grandchildren, Dominic Springwater, Hunter Springwater, Rowan Cagle, Keagan Yakel, Kate Yakel and Caleb Yakel; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 18, 2013, at the First Baptist Church, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Phil McGehee officiating. Interment will follow service at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. You may offer condolences to the family from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
