Mary Louise (Pittman) Pilgreen, 78, of Poteau, OK. She was born May 14, 1934, in Muskogee, OK, to Henry and Peggye Pittman. She left our world to be reunited with the love of her life, Grover C Pilgreen Jr. who died May 17, 2006. Mary was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, Poteau.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Grover; two daughters, Sherry A Pilgreen Beckwith, who died July 24, 1983, and by Stephanie E. Pilgreen Gordon, who died June 26, 1993, a sister Rita Y. Lenon as well as a brother H.A. Pittman Jr.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Tatyana Marie Gordon and Donovan OBrien Gordon both of New York; a brother, Eddie Pittman and wife Joyce, of Muskogee, OK; a niece and her husband, Peggye and Randy Bradshaw, of St. Paul, MN; good friends and caregivers Wanda Brown, Loretha and Tim Sconyers, numerous other relatives, and many, many friends. A special thank you to the members and staff of Pocola Nursing Home and the Hospice care givers who were there for her. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 7, 2011, at Grace Manor Funeral Home with Pastor Garry Haskins officiating. Interment will follow service and will be graveside at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
