Neva Nell (Buttress) Spurlin, 81, of Shady Point, OK, passed away November 7, 2010, in Fort Smith, AR. Neva was born, February 8, 1929, in, Cameron OK, to Charley and Flora (Hall) Buttress. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Spurlin and her only son Jerry Rust. She is survived by a grandson Michael Rust of Minnesota; a granddaughter Amy Rust of New Orleans, LA; two great-grandchildren; a sister Sylvia Rogers of Panama, OK; a brother Oran Buttress of Shady Point, OK; and many other family, friends, and loved ones. A memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November, 10 2010, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with Rev. Travis Cook officiating. Interment of ashes will be beside her husband Gene at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK.
