Norma Lee Wilkinson, 59, Spiro, OK, passed away March 19, 2010, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born October 4, 1950, at Williams, OK, to William and Elise (Pendergrass) Byrd. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Norma was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Panama, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Billy Don Broughton; two brothers, Bobby Neal Byrd and Charles Hayden Byrd, and one grandchild Justin Broughton.
Norma is survived by her husband Jack Wilkinson of the home; two sons, James William Broughton of Spiro, OK, Bobby Wayne Broughton of Woodlake, CA; one daughter Vesta and husband Paul Alvarado of Spiro, OK; two brothers, Billy Gene Byrd of Yukon, CA, Larry Byrd of Spiro, OK; two sisters Brenda Kaye and husband Donnie Jones of Howe, OK, Linda Faye Clark of Clarksville, TX; six grandchildren, Michael Broughton, Jacob Alvarado, Matthew Alvarado, Sierra Broughton, Paige Broughton, Hayden Broughton; as well as a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be James Burks, C.J. Burks, Hayden Byrd, Don Wilkinson, Adam Smith and Chad Dyer
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with the Pastor Larry Moss officiating. Interment will follow service at Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Spiro. Viewing will begin Tuesday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM 8:00 PM. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Spiro.
