Obituary

Norman Henry Davis was born on January 29, 1938 in New Mexico to Tom and Magnolia (Basket) Davis and passed away peacefully in Cameron, Oklahoma on February 24, 2025. He was a hardworking man, who valued the importance of family and friendship.

Norman spent his career at the Hershey Plant in Oakdale, California dedicating years of service before retiring. In his leisure time, he found joy in fishing, reading, and visiting with friends and family.

He was first married to Marie, with whom he shared a loving life until her passing in 2001. Together raised three daughters: Leshia, Shanna, and Charlotte. Later that same year, Norman married Betty and together they moved from California to Oklahoma, where they enjoyed their retirement years until Betty's passing in 2018.

Norman is survived by his daughters, his sisters Patsy and Vesta, his sister-in-law Pat, and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Zumwalt. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Christina, Samantha, Robert, Dustin, Rene, and Jason, as well as his great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Jensen, and Corinthians. He also has many other loving family members and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Marie and Betty; his sister, Gwen; and his younger brother, Ronnie.

Norman was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hears of those he touched.

Cremation arrangements are the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center in Poteau, Oklahoma.
