Funeral Service for Novella Lee Gibson, 79, of Cameron, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Funeral Service in Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born on March 29, 1943 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Zella Mae and Bill Harden and passed away on September 13, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Novella was married to Harold Gibson on June 30, 2016 in Whitesboro, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leon Ballew; and brothers, Charles Harden and Chief Harden.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Gibson; daughters, Terrie Ober and husband Tim Ober Sr., Shellie Rowe and husband Kory Rowe; son, Samuel Anthony Ballew; grandchildren, Timothy Ober, Jr., Thomas Ober, Tammy Richter, Heather English, Caston Ballew, Kory Rowe Jr., Dylan Rowe; brother, Bill Harden, Sr.; eight great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Anthony Ballew, Caston Ballew, Tim Ober, Jr., Thomas Ober, Kory Rowe, and Terran English.
Viewing and Visitation: Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 10am- 7pm at the funeral home.
