Paul Ewart Niven, 72, of Poteau, OK, passed away March 14, 2015, in his home. He was born August 20, 1941, in Van Nuys, CA, to Jack Ewart and Margaret Evelyn (Day) Niven. He was an aircraft and auto mechanic and bee keeper.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Billie Niven; three brothers, Jack G. Niven, Russell Niven, and David A. Niven.
Paul is survived by his wife Suezi Niven of the home; son Paul Preston Niven of Poteau, OK; three grandsons, Billie Niven of Alma, AR, Devon Niven and Rudy Niven both of Poteau, OK; four brother, Scott Niven of Twin Falls, ID, Neal Niven of Fresno, CA, Robert Niven and Michael Niven both of Kernan, CA; four sisters, Bonnie Hanzelich and Flora Allen both of Washington, Margaret Van Hoozen of Kernan, CA and Casale Smith of Madera, CA; sister-in-law Hellen Morris of Poteau, OK; brother-in-law Dennis Allen Morris of Riverside, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
