Paul James Roberson, 72, of Poteau, OK, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, in Fort Smith, AR. He was born October 4, 1938, in Tulsa, OK to John and Elsie (Stephens) Roberson. He was a Warehouseman for Safeways Warehouse and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Peggy of the home; two sons, Pete Roberson of Skiatook, OK and Robbie Roberson and wife Louann of Coweta, OK; two daughters, Rhonna Perry and husband Perry of Muskogee, OK and Rachel Clark and husband Benjy of Muskogee, OK; a stepson Mark Chew of Broken Arrow, OK; a stepdaughter Melana Maclock of Poteau, OK; two brothers Tom Roberson and wife Bonnie and John Roberson and wife Yvonne of Skiatook, OK; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; four step grandchildren; one step great grandchild as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Michael Perry, Matthew Perry, Blake Roberson, Scott Wiseley, Bob Wiseley and Kevin Paslay.
Service in Poteau will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, February 11, 2013, Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau with Pastor Leroy Billy officiating. Services in Skiatook will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013 Immanuel Baptist Church in Skiatook, OK with Pastor Jim Standridge officiating. Interment will follow service at Osage Garden in Skiatook.. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau, OK.
