Pauline Wood, 93, of Poteau, OK, passed away September 14, 2011, in Poteau. She was born February 8, 1918, in Rufe, OK, to Abe Jacob and Kattie Francis (Kight) Mills. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Wyatt Winston Wood, a daughter Francis Ruth Wood; three brothers, Earl Mills, Leonard Jake Mills and Arthur James Mills; two sisters, Lizzie Walker and Gertrude Moore; and one grandson Dennis LeForce.
Pauline is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Cathey Wood of Poteau; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lee and Jim Goodwin of Poteau, Sharon Kay and Charles Citty of Haworth, OK, and Joann LeForce of Broken Bow; grandchildren. James LeForce, Kenny LeForce, Shannon (Goodwin) Strain, Joseph Goodwin, Holly (Citty) Mulligan, Blaine (Wood) Elmore, Vivian Wood; great grandchildren, Logan Elmore, Jayden LeForce, and Kally Mulligan; as well as a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
