Peggy Jean Bradberry, 90, of Spiro, OK, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born July 9, 1925 in Hatfield, AR, to George Austin and Bessie (Gipson) Lewis. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Crowson and Brenda Thompson both of Spiro; grandchildren, Greg and wife Christy Crowson, Tammy and husband Malcolm Jackson and Shelley Harris; great grandchildren, Dalton Crowson, Allie Crowson, Tyler Jackson, Jayden Jackson, Nicholas Marchant and Emma Marchant; two nieces, Pat and husband Wesley Pickle and Barbara Hardcastle; other family members, friends and loved ones.
Preceding her in death were her husband James Bradberry; her parents George and Bessie Lewis; a daughter Melva Marchant; brothers, Judge Lewis, Walter Slick Lewis, Clyde Lewis and G.A. Lewis; sisters, Novella Turner, Grace Turner and Callie Collins
Pallbearers will be Greg Crowson, Dalton Crowson, Malcolm Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Bill Perkins and Ricky Gist.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Carl Cheshier officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grace Manor Funeral Home, Spiro, OK. Interment will follow service at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, OK.
