Porter Arthur Poole

Porter Poole, 95 of Spiro, OK, passed away November 5, 2017, at Ft. Smith, AR. He was born June 2, 1922 in Pocola, OK, to Dave and Sudie (Porter) Poole. He was a farmer/rancher and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 45 years Rena Poole, one grandson and one great granddaughter.

Survivors include daughter Barbara Flynn and husband William, Cathey Jones and husband Charlie, Diane LeMaster and husband James all of Spiro, OK, three grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.

Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, at Southside House of Worship, Spiro, OK, with Willie Flynn officiating. Interment will follow service at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, OK.
