Randal L. French, 53, of Heavener, OK, passed away June 8, 2010, in Ft. Smith, AR. Randal was born June 3, 1957, in Sallisaw, OK, to Bill and Betty (Smith) French. He was an avid fisherman and loved his grandchildren who were the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Allen French and two grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Simpson of Spiro, OK; a son Randal L. French II and wife Sarah, of Heavener, OK; three daughters, Heather and husband Toby Nix of Waldron, AR, Kim Maurer of Charlevoix, Michigan, Shasta and husband Joseph Stefani, of Heavener, OK; a brother Ricky and wife Jamie French, of Spiro, OK; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Joy and husband Shelby Dillard, of Ft. Smith, AR, Sandy and husband Jake Ritter, and Martha and husband Raymond Sebo, all of Spiro, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Joe Stefani, Toby Nix, Bobby Davis, Dustin Clark, Matt Avery, and Mike Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Preston Bays and Dylan Barnes.
Services will be held graveside, Saturday, at 10:00 AM, June 12, 2010, at Spiro City Cemetery, Spiro, OK, with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Interment will follow service.
