Ray Moore, 93, of Poteau, OK, passed away February 3, 2011, in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born June 19, 1917, to Arch B. and Mollie (Carter) Moore, in Clarksville, AR. Ray married Lois Opal Stone on November 2, 1940, in Poteau. He was a carpenter and a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Poteau
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 63 years, Lois Moore, and a son, Billy E. Moore.
He is survived by six sons, Darrell and Gale Moore of Woodland, CA, Donald Moore of Sallisaw, OK, Robert and Sandra Moore of Escalon, CA, James and Terri Moore of Poteau, OK, Larry and Brenda Moore of Arkoma, OK, Gary and Angela Moore of Poteau, OK; three daughters, Carolyn Borgnino and John Lenz of Davis, CA, Janice Moore of Poteau, OK, Anita Moore and Peter Cala of Davis, CA, twenty three grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
