Ricky Dale Daws of Pocola, Oklahoma was born November 8, 1954 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Sidney Edward and Melba Jean (McConnell) Daws and passed away March 4, 2025 at his home in Pocola, Oklahoma at the age of 70.

He is survived by:

Stephanie Ryan Monroe of Muldrow, Oklahoma

One son:

Frank Toby Daws and wife Kyla of Rudy, Arkansas

One brother:

Gary Daws of Pocola, Oklahoma

Five grandchildren

Six great-grandchildren

Numerous other loved relatives and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Edward and Melba Jean Daws; and his long-time companion, Linda Harry.

Ricky was a long-time resident of the area and a painter. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Ricky will be deeply missed.

Memorial service will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
