Robin Jean Riggs, 72, of Poteau, Oklahoma was born to Emerson and Mary (Franklin) Adams on June 16, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in Poteau, Oklahoma.

She is survived by:

Matthew W. Riggs of Poteau, Oklahoma

Paul R. Riggs of Poteau, Oklahoma

One brother:

Mark C. Adams and wife Nancy of Bixby, Oklahoma

Two granddaughters:

Nova L. Hargis and husband Aaron of Fort Smith, Arkansas

Autumn L. Riggs of Lavaca, Arkansas

One great-granddaughter:

Ember Michelle Hargis of Fort Smith, Arkansas

Numerous other loved ones and many friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and Mary (Franklin) Adams; and her husband, Jerry Riggs.

Robin was a longtime resident of the area and a homemaker. She loved to draw, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. Robin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate Robin's life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Reverend Phil McGehee officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center in Poteau, Oklahoma.
