Roger Dale Barcheers
Roger Dale Barcheers, 66, of Bokoshe, OK, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, in Poteau, OK. He was born March 9, 1952 in Ralls, TX, to Chester Lee and Ruby Dethora Workman Barcheers. Roger attended school in Boswell, OK. After moving to Panama, he met and married the love of his life Donnia Anthony. He was a member of the Army National Guard and a floor hand on drilling rigs.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Brenda Gay Barcheers.
Roger is survived by his wife Donnia Barcheers of the home, three children, Cody and Amber Barcheers of Panama, OK, Crystal Eaves of Panama, OK, and Micheal Barcheers of Shady Point, OK, grandchildren, Taylor, Stephanie, Roger, Kale Barcheers, Dakota Eaves, Mason, Calie and Zyer Barcheers, one great-grandchild Madalyn Young, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Peggy Barcheers of Fort Coffee, OK, Kenny and Pat Barcheers of Bokoshe, Rickey and Janice Barcheers of Shady Point, OK, Bruce and Barbara Barcheers of Haileyville, OK, three sisters, Lavonne and Danny Cross of Lavaca, AR, Gail and George Swindle of Shady Point, OK and Sandy and Grant Ralls of Bokoshe, OK, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers are George Swindle, Roger Barcheers, Kale Barcheers, Mason Barcheers, Dakota Eaves, Kaleb Barcheers, Scotty Gotes and Shannon Gotes. Honorary Pallbearer Bugs Williamson.
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Bokoshe Assembly of God Church, Bokoshe, OK with Rev. Doyle Martin officiating. Interment will follow service at Fair Hill Cemetery, Cameron, OK. Viewing will be Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
