Ronald Floyd Carver
Ronald Carver, 82, of Red Oak, OK, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017, in Red Oak. He was born, November 10, 1934, in Farmington, NM, to Carl and Virgie (Harding)Carver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a rancher and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children JoAnne (DeLapp) Carver, six brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife Evie Lou (McCormick) Carver of the home, three sons, Denny and wife Reba Carver of Fence Lake, NM, David Clinton of Poteau and Thomas Colbert of Red Oak, OK, three daughters, Paula and husband Herm Hanson of Dog Creek, OK, Crystal Carver of Pie Town, NM, and Amanda and husband Jason Watts of Cameron, OK, a brother Larry and wife Sally Carver of Milan, NM, a sister-in-law Nelda Carver of Salt Lake City, Utah, eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Roger Kimble, Lonnie Taylor, Mike Cunningham, Johnnie Stanford, Charles Carver, Bob Noggles and honorary pallbearers, Otis Smith, Doyle Adams, John Volk, Diz Carver, James Noggles, Steve Yandell and J.B. Lloyd.
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church, Red Oak, OK, with Pastor Bob Cherry officiating. Interment will follow service at Hardaway Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
