Ronnie Dean Hargrove, 70, of Poteau, OK, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, in Fort Smith, AR. He was born June 30, 1944, at Poteau, to John and Ester (Guin) Hargrove. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was an operator instructor for a nuclear power plant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Patsy Ann Hargrove.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Elsie of the home; a son Ronnie Hargrove Jr. of OKC, OK; two daughters, Rhonda Zumwalt of Springfield, MO and Melodie Jordan of Dover, AR; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; step son Tanner Turk of Poteau, OK; a brother and sister-in-law Donald and Ramona Hargrove of Poteau; nephew Donnie Hargrove of Edmond, OK; niece Whitney Lagaly of Hot Springs, AR; as well as a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK, with Pastor Brian Smith officiating. Interment will follow service at Oakland Cemetery.
