Ruby L. Ray, 85, of Poteau, OK, passed away October 26, 2011, in Poteau. She was born January 11, 1926, in Cauthron, AR, to James David and Minnie Emma Lee (Holmes) Stuart. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and great aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Burlen Ray; a brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Florence Stuart.
Ruby is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Joe Latta and wife Pam of Poteau; two grandchildren, Jennifer Jo Lokken and Jessie Green; a great grandchild, Sydney Watson; nieces, Linda and Theo Johnson of Abbott, AR and Marilyn Nichols of Waldron, AR; nephew, James and Pam Stuart of Cauthron, AR; great nieces, Melissa Campbell of Garfield, AR and Audrey and David Duncan of Decatur, AR; great nephews, Joseph A. Dinar of Abbott, AR and Jay Stuart of Kansas City, MO; as well as a host of other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Dinar, Ted Johnston, Steven Herin, Jay Stuart, Wesley McCroskey and Carl Johnston.
Services will be held graveside at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Lower Center Point Cemetery, near Hon, AR. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7:00 PM, Friday evening, at the funeral home. Interment will follow service. Services under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, Oklahoma.
