Ruby Lee Shore-Anderson
Ruby Shore-Anderson, 91, of Poteau, OK, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 in Poteau. She was born April 18, 1926, at Daisetta, TX, to Edmond and Lillian (Copeland) Theis. She shared the work and ownership of The Country Store for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and father of her children U.J. Shore, second husband J.D. Anderson, one son Charles Shore, three siblings, Ed Theis, Earl Theis and Alma Sterling.
Survivors include one son Jim and wife Nancy Shore of Poteau, two daughters, Debby and husband Garey Oakes of Muskogee, OK and Vickie Estes of Spokane, WA, a sister Margie Crane of Sugarland, TX, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Brian Shore, Jeff Shore, Mark Jenkins, Garey Oakes, Sean Estes and Douglas Estes.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau, OK, with Bro. Jeff Little officiating. Interment will follow services at Oakland Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
